Paige Ricks. Self-portrait, Oakland, April 2025.
My name is Paige Ricks and I am a multidisciplinary art director and visual storyteller shaping narratives at the intersection of culture, identity, and emotion. Rooted in photography and editorial design, my work merges striking imagery with strategic direction to craft bold,
emotionally intelligent worlds.
With a distinct visual rhythm and a magnetic, intentional aesthetic, I create campaigns, brand identities, and original content that live between editorial edge and soulful nuance.
Over the past decade, I have partnered with some of the world’s most recognizable brands and media platforms, including Nike, Old Navy, Airbnb, Instagram, The New York Times, and the Eames Institute. I have lead creative teams and brought ideas to life from initial spark to final execution. My practice is guided in the belief that art and strategy are not opposites, but collaborators, and that storytelling must move, resonate, and reflect the culture it lives within.
I hold a Master’s in Journalism from UC Berkeley, an MFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University, and a BA from CSU Fresno. I recently earned a Graphic Design Certificate from UC Berkeley Extension.
